Request
Just a quick note to ask you all to pray for my dad. I spoke with him earlier tonight and, when I asked how he was feeling, he said "I'm suffering." It broke my heart. 87 years is a long time to live and he's done it well. Please pray for him and my family. I'll write more about this when I have more time and sense about me.

Yes, Robin, Bert & I will pray for your Dad. How special that at 87 he is still a part of your life. My Dad passed away when I was 30 years old--he was 72. He was a remarkable man who went through heart surgery, a stroke, and prostate cancer before bone cancer finally got him. Blessed be his memory! And may God's strengthening touch reach down and relieve the suffering your Dad is facing at this time. Coming to you from ND, Diane Anderson

I most certainly will be praying for your father. I too am a preacher kid & I know the special bond the two of you must have. I pray he will find peace from his pain.
